Kandy “ perahara”

The Kandy Perahera, also known as the Esala Perahera, is one of Sri Lanka’s grandest and most historic festivals, held annually in the city of Kandy. This spectacular event, celebrated in honor of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, features a dazzling procession of elaborately adorned elephants, traditional dancers, drummers, and fire performers.
