Description
The RS Quest “Your Adventure Awaits” package is a compact yet comprehensive 6-night, 7-day journey through the very best of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you are whisked away to the famed Cultural Triangle, the historical heart of the island. Day one ends with an overnight stay, preparing you for an action-packed exploration of the ancient wonders that lie ahead.
Day two is dedicated to history, beginning with the ascent of the UNESCO-listed Sigiriya Rock Fortress and a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple. You then travel to Anuradhapura, the island’s first kingdom, where you explore ancient stupas like Ruwan Weli Pagoda and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, immersing yourself in 1,300 years of civilization.
The Cultural Triangle exploration continues on day three at the medieval city of Polonnaruwa, followed by an enjoyable walk along the Parakrama Samudraya. The afternoon features an exciting wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park to witness the stunning sight of wild elephants. This unique blend of history and nature concludes your stay in the north before transferring to the hills.
Day four takes you to Kandy, the hill capital. En route, you visit a fragrant Matale Spice Garden before exploring the city’s cultural core. In the evening, you visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy the vibrant traditional music and colorful performances of a local Kandy cultural show, completing your immersion into the island’s traditions.
The second half of your journey combines history and coast. Day five heads south, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. The afternoon is spent exploring the colonial ramparts of Galle Fort and enjoying a coral viewing trip in Hikkaduwa, where you unwind on the beautiful beach. The following day involves a relaxed tour of the modern and historic highlights of Colombo City.

- You will travel to Sigiriya / Dambulla and check in to hotel for overnight stay
Overnight Stay at Dambulla / Sigiriya Hotel
- After Breakfast at the Hotel, you will be exploring the historic and cultural sites at Dambulla
- Travel Sigiriya & explore UNESCO world Heritage Sigiriya Rock Fortress
